The Italian school of dubbing certainly is the best of the world.
During Neorealism, soon after the World War II, actors usually came from the streets, and when they performed, they simply moved their mouth saying things like “one, two, three, four!”.
Later on, in dubbing studios, talented actors gave them beautiful voices, full of expression.
Italy has also higher place in the dubbing world.
Rome currently represents the centre of Italian dubbing, carring on this prestigious tradition since 1933.
